The way to detect leaks is to visually inspect the hydraulic lines and joints and use a pressure tester to check whether the system pressure is normal.

First, check the oil level and add oil if it's low. Inspect the oil filter for clogs or restrictions, and replace it if necessary. Check the oil pump for wear or damage, and test the oil pressure sensor for accuracy. If these components are functioning correctly, inspect the engine bearings and journals for excessive wear.

If the engine has trouble starting, first check the battery charge and connections. Ensure the fuel system is supplying fuel by inspecting the fuel pump and fuel lines for blockages. Check the glow plugs (for diesel engines) or spark plugs (for gasoline engines) for wear and replace them if necessary. Use a diagnostic tool to check for any fault codes that might indicate issues with the engine control unit (ECU) or sensors.

After the machine has cooled down, locate the filters that need to be replaced (such as oil, fuel, and air filters). Use tools to remove the old filters, clean the installation area, install the new filters, and ensure they are sealed properly.
